All Revolution serums are arrive in a beautiful, recyclable, frosted glass bottle, they feel substantial and such good quality. As the serums are different textures and thicknesses, they all come with a little glass dropper inside too. For once, it looks cute to leave out skincare items, rather than hiding them away! They look stylish, substantial and expensive... Win!

I should use this moment to explain my facial skin type. I usually have a shiny, oily t-zone with defined pores, due to having an oily t-zone, I can also be prone to blemishes, spots and overall sensitivity. A disclaimer that my diet is great, I exercise often and I drink plenty of water, however no matter what I do, I seem to be super shiny all day, every day! Sometimes, it's just how you are - and I have accepted that now, so I try and find ways to nourish and maintain, rather than 'fix' as I've begun to love my natural glow. }

Revolution's 10% Niacinamide + 1% Zinc Serum

What is this serum?

This blemish and pore refining serum is formulated with soothing and calming 1% zinc and a 10% niacinamide, a water-soluble vitamin that works with natural substances in your skin to tighten pores, minimize enlarged pores, help with skin dullness and uneven tones. An all in one to hit those blemishes and skin issues on the head, right?!

This has been an absolute game changer for my skin. I usually apply it only once a day after I cleanse before bed, however Revolution do say you can use it both morning and evening for best results, but for me it really does work wonders from just the once and sleeping with it doing it's thing. It quickly absorbs and doesn't feel greasy or sticky, like some other serums for oily skin can do, which is great if I do apply it in the morning. It's easy to use under makeup, due to it being oil-free, you don't get that super shine and can crack on with the day.

My skin doesn't feel tight and dry, as you would probably imagine it would, and it does feel clean and fresh for the whole next day. My enlarged pores around my nose and cheeks shrink in size and any blackheads look a lot smaller, meaning I have much more confidence not wearing foundation or concealer every day! Winner!

In a nut shell, this is such a fantastic baddy to have tucked away for those 'bad days' or just for general day to day use, it's made such an impact on my skin that I would happily repurchase over and over again!
