{ Revolution, a vegan, cruelty free beauty brand targeting those of us who want high quality products on a budget.

This big hitting name currently have five mini-brands within it -

Revolution - known for its innovative makeup, competing with other 'big brands'

Revolution PRO - offering cosmetics to the 'sophisticated'

I Heart Revolution - celebrating the fun, quirky side of beauty

Revolution Skincare - a huge range of skincare that targets all sorts of issues

Makeup Obsession - covering the 'feel good' additions to all your makeup supplies

All Revolution serums are arrive in a beautiful, recyclable, frosted glass bottle, they feel substantial and such good quality. As the serums are different textures and thicknesses, they all come with a little glass dropper inside too. For once, it looks cute to leave out skincare items, rather than hiding them away! They look stylish, substantial and expensive... Win!

I should use this moment to explain my facial skin type. I usually have a shiny, oily t-zone with defined pores, due to having an oily t-zone, I can also be prone to blemishes, spots and overall sensitivity. A disclaimer that my diet is great, I exercise often and I drink plenty of water, however no matter what I do, I seem to be super shiny all day, every day! Sometimes, it's just how you are - and I have accepted that now, so I try and find ways to nourish and maintain, rather than 'fix' as I've begun to love my natural glow. }

Revolution's CBD Oil

What is CBD Oil?

This intensely nourishing CBD oil, as you may or may not know, is one of the hardest hitting skincare heroes we've had in years. CBD, short for Cannabidiol, is a chemical compound found in marijuana that has SO many uses. Even though it's from marijuana, the chemical doesn't hold anything that would cause a "high" effect or any other intoxication, such as other products that use hemp.

The key benefits of this little baddie are that it helps calm and soothe sensitive and irritated skin, nourishes and helps skin prone to dryness. If any of these sound like your skin types, this is the one for you. It's also fragrance free, alcohol free, paraben free and gluten free, not to mention it costs only £10 for the bottle! (The link can be found at the bottom of this page.)

If you remember from what I said before, I have oily skin, however after an occasional face mask and cleanse sometimes my skin feels quite tight and a little dried out, however after only a couple of drops of the oil and a little massage, my skin feels and looks AMAZING! I personally don't use it every day, as I think for my skin type it would be far too much, but I'm sure for days my face feels so fresh and plump once I have used it. What's also great about it, once I rub it into my face, anything left over on my hands can be massaged into my nails and cuticles, and they seem to really benefit too!

Overall, a gorgeous little winner to have in your army of skincare.
